The highly anticipated Wale tape is finally here, just dropped this morning. Tons of samples from pop culture outside of music, obviously mostly Seinfeld continuing the theme from The Mixtape About Nothing, but the Tiger Woods shit in track 7 is funny as shit. Wale has removed himself from the spotlight since he dropped Attention Deficit but this mixtape is definitely a return to where Wale made his name big nationally. One things for sure, in a game where everyone else is preoccupied trying to sing Wale is still spitting. The features are used well for hooks and shit to complement Wale’s focus on rapping. Definitely one of the best mixtapes to drop this year, cop fo sho
